It’s things like “consensual fondling” that make this so worth it. Just an easy Sunday morning, drinking my coffee, and that line! Well done, sir!

Thank god for a saner method of looking at FAs. I am so sick of articles with a headline like this” Potential landing spots for former superbowl star x. When you solve for x you find that the player has been a dog for the last two years

Imagine having spent the last month WRITING such articles about guys like Baun and Stanley. It's like the old army grunts who had to dig holes and then refill them.

Howie loves using a member (often elderly) of categories two and three to serve as a pass rush specialist. Mack, Miller and Young must make him dizzy with his choice of riches.

I'm morbidly curious about the Giants' QB situation. Somebody like Darnold theoretically makes sense as a (theoretically) competent guy who can keep them competitive while Ward(?) dries behind his ears. But they can't be sure of getting Ward and if they can't, they're better off letting some cheap scrub like DeVito lose 13 games.

It would be fun to see him sign both Mack and Miller for combined about half of what Josh Sweat is going to get.

I am very morbidly curious about this group of failed quarterbacks. I don’t think there’s a Darnold in there (*definitely* not a Mayfield, whom I never thought deserved the label anyway) but is there anyone with any value? Eliminating Justin Fields, who (lord help me) I STILL BELIEVE IN, do these guys have a second act as even a quality backup? It’s hard to see it. But it’s a fascinating group.

I don't see it once you eliminate Fields. I don't believe in him but I respect the faith of those who do.

Every time Bo Nix had a bad session during Bronco pre-season last year, there were a lot of folks lighting candles for Zach Wilson. I'm sure they are still out there.

I only had to type this, to conjure a deal for Zach with the Dolphins.

Too bad it's probably the only successful conjuring I'll ever do... there goes world peace!

My favorite part of this piece was the completely coincidental listing of Aaron Rodgers at the very bottom of his category, behind 14 other guys including Kevin Zeitler and Zach Ertz.

@Mike Tanier - Looks like you didn't list PFF's #3 ranked FA, Jevon Holland. Which category would he fit into? Though I don't see any that fit. Maybe "Player who makes a couple of splash plays a year and the national media overrates as a FA"? Or, "Player who makes a couple of splash plays a year and the local media knows will sign elsewhere in FA and will get overpaid"?

If I had a Benjamin for every Cowboys podcaster who has touted a potential Dowdle re-signing as a good move, a jag if ever there was one, because of his 1000 yard season (on so many 3rd and 4th quarter runs when they were down 20 no less), I could retire… in 2038 instead of 2040.

He would be great at $10 million over 2 years with some incentives. Some other team will offer that and Jerry will enter next season with Thrice Vaughn and Zeke's barber as his RBs.
