I hope Stroud surpasses the expectations he has placed on himself. It appears the Texans have gone all in on making sure he has the pieces to do great things. But we have seen single-season great performances from rookies who could not sustain it plenty of times before

That Rosenfels 'Cal Story' sure sounds to me like David Carr putting one over on Sage. And succeeding ridiculously easily.

Lol Mike do you have a bet with someone to see if you can slip in a shot at Kenny Pickett into each one of these? 🤣

Yeah, guess Mike could pick on Desmond Ridder next time up. Pickett's whining about his benching does give him extra negative cred, tho'. (Desmond got benched too, didn't he? Without any unusual amount of bitching that I recall hearing about)

My biggest memory of Carr 2002; everyone was talking about the sacks and I was a single team fan back then of NYG. "Strahan and the boys are gonna feast!" As texans came to town. End of game Carr has both arms up they beat the Giants. How??

NFL is crazy like that, bad teams without an OL with " nothing to play for" beat playoff contenders in their house desperate for wins to stay in the race.

21st Century Giants even more so, seems to me. Both their Super Bowl runs came relatively out of nowhere. Their 2010 team got absolutely thumped late in the season by a Mighty Pack team that needed to win out and get help just to make the playoffs, next year the Giants blast a near-identical 15-1 Packer team in January in the playoffs in Lambeau.

It wasn't identical; the 2011 pack was 19th in points allowed but number 1 offense. I don't know why, many guys still there but they were only 10th place O, 2nd place D in 2010. Which is The usual profile of a SB winner.

I had gamepass and saw all 22 of NYG at GB divisional and I was such a novice at film back then. But it was shocking how many times Rodgers didnt see open guys and threw the wrong place or got pressured late in the down. I thought "choking" was a myth and mostly still do i haven't seen anything like that since. I wish i had it on file.

YouTube channels Walterwhitefootball and jameslight have a ton of all 22 unblocked on YouTube. Its way better then gamepass 5 second rewind or use a browser app and customize 2 second rewind that's how i watch recorded ball

Read the WWII chestnut now. The Blue Jackets / All-Stars film is amazing and something I'd never heard of, much less seen. I'm off to buy a Buddy Young jersey....

Yup, nice. Sure I also read it the first time around, but I don't remember it.

I don't remember writing it. I should have edited it more cleanly in the middle, where all the New York teams start to run together.
